About Cookbooktree.com Ever since the beginning of time, humans have socialized around food. Now, with today’s technology, we have made it even easier. Welcome to cookbooktree.com a network of cookbook and recipe creators. The Cookbooktree.com inspiration came from creating our first family cookbook for everyone in our family for Christmas. Our family totally loves to fellowship around food. We all would bring our favorite recipes for our holiday carry-ins. There we got the great idea to create our own family cookbook and distribute it at Christmas. We each submitted at least three or more recipes for our cookbook. The recipes where submitted to the cookbook editor. The editor then had to retype each recipe into a cookbook creation program. Then the recipes had to be printed out and then copied 30 times for each family member. Each book then had to be created by cutting the 8 ½ “X 11 ½” in half, then punching for a comb binding machine. The cover then had to be designed, printed in color on a color printer and laminated. Then each cookbook was assembled with a comb binding machine. At Christmas the family cookbook was handed out to each member with much excitement and anticipation. Now each member could share in creating the recipes they all had enjoyed. As years went by the younger children grew up and went out on their own. They then wanted cookbooks like their parents had to start their families. Since we would have to go through the creation process again there had to be a better way to create cookbooks for them. Then inspiration had its way. We could create a web site to allow not only our family but other families, organizations, fundraisers and individuals share in our joy of sharing recipes and the creation of cookbooks. We now have quality printing equipment and state of the art digital programs that let us print from one to thousands of cookbooks quick and with perfect quality at a very nominal price. Now, anyone can share the joy of creating and sharing cookbooks with other friends and family. Cookbooktree.com has made that possible. We hope you share and have as much fun as we have with cookbooktree.com |
